Kaysie and Chan are one of the nicest couples that we’ve met. And that trait extends to their entire families, and not to mention their bridal party when we got the chance to meet them on their wedding day. Needless to say, we have nothing but lovely memories while preparing for their wedding.

It started as a friendly recommendation from one of our dearest friends and soon-to-be dad Leslie Truong of TRUphotography, who by the way worked tirelessly on the wedding alongside Roger Lee. And oh did we mention it was his birthday that day?  – “I had a beautiful 16 hour day doing what I love… wedding photography.”  His words, not ours. 🙂

We had a friendly conversation at their lovely home, and right then and there we felt how much they wanted to have a Same-Day-Edit video for their wedding day. And we did just that. And we feel honoured to have been able to produce something amazing for them.

Although she was a bundle of nerves in the morning, Kaysie was gorgeous. Unmistakably ‘The Bride’. She was beautiful, eloquent, and polite all the way, like her entire family. Everybody was pleasant, you would get a “hi” from every “hello”, even get served food & drinks during our minute breaks. And for that we thank you.

Chan, being the ever-so-friendly guy that he is, went out of his way to greet every guest and kept a welcoming smile all through out their wedding day. He was happy. Nervous, but happy. Who wouldn’t be? And he wore that smile like he did his suit… flawlessly.

The wedding went on really smoothly and intimate: the ceremony was held at Chan’s parents’ lovely home, and the reception followed at Anabella Receptions.

They were able to keep the wedding the way they wanted it – with the people they love. But what surprised us was that the reception venue was packed to the entrance. And that being said, our SDE rocked the night! We’ve never had such a resounding response from an SDE wedding video screening. Not like this. From one table to the next, you’d see and hear happy guests cheering all the way through. They were a couple much loved.

Kaysie & Chan, you both are wonderful. Together you make people feel completely at ease and ready to celebrate your joy, your love. Thank you for allowing us to document your first day as husband and wife. It was an honour and we look forward to what the future has in store for you both. You’ve truly made a rainy day the sunniest for us.
