They first met at Swinburne University back in 2008. He initially noticed her during one of their lectures, but he never had the courage to sit next to her or start a conversation. He never knew what to say, never knew what to do. Like any other guy, he was confronted with the fear of being caught in an awkward situation.
It wasn’t until one day when he was running late to his lecture that faith caught up with them, as they were both catching the train in. He spotted Irene at the end of the carriage and he thought this was the perfect chance to finally approach her. On this day, he found the courage to step up and approach Irene .
He introduced himself, exchanged ‘Hi’s’ and ‘Hello’s’ and what he got was a very awkward handshake. After a few minutes of chatting, they eventually walked to class together that day.
Fast forward 7 years later, here we are – their wedding day.
Their wedding day also marks their 7th Anniversary.
On the 29th of August 2008, he asked her to be his girlfriend.
On the 29th of August, 2014, he asked her hand for marriage.
And on the 29th of August 2015, they tied the knot.
They studied together, graduated, worked together, bought a home together, and travelled together. 7 years together and stronger each day.

Their day was a celebration of not only where they are now, but the road that has brought them to this very moment.
